Boys and Girls 6th Grade Basketball Tournament

January 25 - February 3, 2019

On behalf of the St. Pius X School Athletic Association and the Moorhead family, we would like to invite your boys and girls team (s) to be a part of the most prestigious 6th grade tournament in the Northern Kentucky area.  The boys’ and girls’ brackets will be for non-competitive/recreational school teams.  The tournament is played in honor of David Moorhead who was a 6th grade student at St. Pius when he died suddenly following a school basketball practice in November 1995.  The tournament was started by the classmates and family of David in 1996.  

All games will be played at St. Pius X School gym or Parish athletic center located at 348 Dudley Road, Edgewood, KY.  

Tournament format is single elimination.  

Registration is online via link included below.  

Registration deadline is Friday, January 11, 2019.  Please inform us on the registration of any school league tournament/regular season game conflicts you may have for the tourney dates.  We apologize but will not be able to accommodate AAU and other non -school sports/activities conflicts.

Cost is $85 per team.  Checks made payable to St. Pius X Athletic Association.

Annual St. Pius Boys and Girls Basketball Tournament

Grades 3rd, 4th, 5th, 7th, and 8th

Coordinators and Coaches, 

On behalf of the St. Pius X Athletic Association, we would like to invite your team(s) to participate in our annual boys and girls basketball tournament.  Both boys and girls brackets are for non-competitive/recreational school teams.  Schools that only have one 7th or 8th grade team are welcome.  "A" teams are not permitted with the exception of 7th & 8th Grade girls.  

All games will be played at St. Pius X School gym or Parish activity center located at 348 Dudley Road, Edgewood, Kentucky.  Games will be played during the week and weekends. 

Tournament format is single elimination. 

Registration is online via link included below.
